Melted Crayons runs a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, so your own AI agent — Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client — can build whole stories for you: write, illustrate, animate, voice, translate, publish, and read back the results. It's self-serve on every plan — a personal key acts as you, using your own plan and credits, running the exact same code as the app.

One thing the agent can't do

The final composited promo MP4 is rendered in the browser (in the Studio) — there's no headless render over the API. Your agent takes a story all the way to a published page with per-panel art, clips, audio and share links; you finish the downloadable MP4 in the Studio with one click.
