1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Melted Crayons (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

Melted Crayons is built for adult creators and supports mature storytelling themes — drama, horror, romance, satire, action. If you're under 18, please review Section 6 (Acceptable Use) for what is and isn't supported, and use the platform with parental guidance for any mature themes.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the characters, stories, uploads, and other content you create or submit ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant Melted Crayons a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical purposes such as resizing and format conversion), and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You are solely responsible for Your Content, including its legality and for ensuring you have the rights necessary to upload it. Do not upload reference photos of real people (including minors) without their documented consent.

5. AI-Generated Output

The Service uses third-party AI models (including Google Gemini and BytePlus SeedDream) to generate imagery based on your prompts and reference uploads. You understand that:

  • AI output may be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to other users' output.
  • The legal status of AI-generated content varies by jurisdiction; you are responsible for how you use it.
  • We do not guarantee exclusive rights to any specific generated image.

6. Acceptable Use

Melted Crayons is a storytelling tool built for adult creators. Mature themes are welcome — explicit or harmful content is not. The lines below are intentionally clear so you know exactly what you can and can't make.

Mature themes you can create

These genres and elements are fully supported:

  • Dark drama, noir, horror, suspense, and tragedy — including death, danger, fear, and morally complex characters
  • Comic-style action and violence — fights, sword combat, sci-fi weapons, action set-pieces, antagonist behavior
  • Romance, intimacy, sensuality, and adult relationships — kissing, embraces, emotionally charged scenes, suggestive framing within tasteful bounds
  • Satire, social commentary, political parody, and sharp humor — including criticism of public figures and institutions through fictional analogues
  • Strong language and dialogue, mature themes (addiction, mental-health struggles, grief, trauma) when treated as part of a story rather than as instructions or glorification
  • Sci-fi, fantasy, supernatural, dystopian, and speculative fiction with whatever moral weight your story requires
  • Brand storytelling, marketing comics, indie-creator series, and educational content

What's prohibited

The following are not permitted regardless of artistic intent. These rules are not negotiable.

  • Sexual or suggestive content involving minors (anyone under 18, real or depicted). Violations result in immediate termination and may be reported to law enforcement.
  • Explicit sexual content / pornography. Adult-themed romance and intimacy are fine — explicit sexual acts, anatomical nudity, and pornographic depictions are not what this product is built for.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery of real people (deepfakes, revenge content, etc.).
  • Real-world harmful instructions: synthesis of weapons, explosives, drugs; instructions for attacks; planning of real-world mass violence.
  • Glorification or instruction of self-harm or suicide. (Depicting a character's struggle is fine when framed as story; methods and how-to are not.)
  • Identity-based hate and slurs targeting protected groups. Antagonists with reprehensible views and satire of bigotry are fine — actual slurs and calls for violence are not.
  • Graphic real-world gore, torture for shock value, school/mass shooting scenarios. Comic-style action violence is permitted; photo-realistic atrocity is not.
  • Impersonation or harassment of real people (other than fair-use satire of public figures), defamation, doxxing, or content created to harm a specific person.
  • Malware, spam, or content that attempts to circumvent safety systems, scrape the Service, or otherwise abuse the platform.

Enforcement

We use automated prompt filters, provider-side safety models, and human review of reported content. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination without refund. Repeated or egregious violations of the minor-protection rule are reported to NCMEC and relevant authorities.

If your prompt is blocked and you believe the block is in error, email support@meltedcrayons.tv with the prompt and context. We review false positives and improve our filters over time.

7. Reporting and Moderation

If you see content that violates these Terms, use the in-product report button on the story page. We review reports and may unpublish content, warn creators, or terminate accounts at our discretion.

8. Copyright (DMCA)

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice including: (a) a description of the copyrighted work, (b) the URL of the infringing material, (c) your contact information, (d) a statement of good-faith belief, (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate, and (f) your signature. Send notices to the contact address below.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these Terms. On termination, your published content is removed from public view.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MELTED CRAYONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $50 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Melted Crayons from any claim arising out of Your Content or your violation of these Terms.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
